Scope
Pure and Applied Geophysics publishes research on solid Earth geophysics, seismology, tectonophysics, geomagnetism, and atmospheric and ionospheric physics, alongside studies in geochemistry and petrology. The journal focuses on observational, theoretical, and modeling contributions that bridge fundamental geophysical processes with applied problems such as earthquake hazard, volcanic activity, and Earth-system coupling across scales.
