Landscape Ecology publishes research on the spatial patterns and ecological processes that shape heterogeneous landscapes. The journal focuses on the interactions between land use, biodiversity, ecosystem function, and human activity across scales, combining ecological theory with remote sensing, modeling, and geographic analysis for conservation and land-use planning.
