Scope
Natural Hazards Research publishes research on the physical processes, monitoring, modeling, and societal impacts of geophysical and hydrometeorological hazards, including earthquakes, landslides, floods, volcanic activity, and extreme weather. The journal focuses on multi-hazard risk assessment, early warning, vulnerability and exposure analysis, disaster preparedness, and the integration of geoscience with planning and development to reduce losses in hazard-prone regions.
