Atmospheric Environment: X publishes open-access research on atmospheric composition, air quality, and the interactions of pollutants with weather and climate. The journal focuses on observational campaigns, remote sensing, chemical transport modeling, aerosol and trace-gas chemistry, and assessments of emissions and exposure across urban, regional, and global scales.

- Subscribe to Open: subscribers keep the journal free to read, decided year by year. Page charges can still apply.
- Agreement
- A deal between an institution or country and a publisher that may cover the APC. Never automatic.
