GCB Bioenergy publishes research on the biological and biophysical aspects of bioenergy production, including feedstock cultivation, land use change, and the environmental consequences of biomass-based energy systems. The journal focuses on the interface between bioenergy and global change biology, covering carbon balances, greenhouse gas emissions, and ecosystem impacts of energy crops.
